Wildwood Deckers invites you to join with us in the preservation of the Decker Terrier, for years, only considered a line of rat terrier.
I believe, anyone spending any amount of time with these dogs, will see, they are much more.
We breed for the same qualities that Milton Decker did, as well as Tim Brown who deserves the credit for keeping these dogs from extinction.
As of January 1, 2006 we are registering our Deckers as just that, Decker Terriers, with the American Decker Terrier Registry.
This is a registry we started, in conjuction with the Hunting Dog Registry, to preserve the Deckers, with just that in mind, HUNTING

Here at Wildwood Deckers it is a family endevor to ensure you get the best hunting prospect possible.
We not only breed dogs that have proven themselves in the field, but we also take the extra time to expose our puppies to some of the factors they may encounter in the field.
Puppies are exposed to standing water, tall grass, etc. We start shooting over our puppies at 6-7 weeks of age.
Puppies are constantly exposed to kids and adults, as well as other dogs of various ages & sizes.
